Meeting With the Cluster Leaders

On July 3, 2013 (Wednesday) a meeting with the Cluster Leaders of Health & Medical Technology Niche and Research Deputy Dean Bill. 1/2013 was held at Sukmaria Meeting Room, PPUKM. The meeting started at 2.30 pm and ended at 4.30 pm were attended by eleven participants.

Meeting began with remarks from the Chairman of the Health & Medical Technology Niche, Professor Datuk Dr. A Rahman A Jamal and continued with  presentation of the performance of each cluster and research groups based on the assessment of KPPU 2012 presented by Chairman of Health & Medical Technology Niche.

The Chairman informed about the proposal to establish two new clusters known as Wellness and Nutrition and Bone Research. The Chairman also suggested the formation of four new groups named as Gene Regulation in Cancers (Cancer Clusters), Neurosciences (Cluster Mechanism Disease), Disease Epidemiology (Cluster Health System) and Surgical Oncology (Cancer Cluster).

The Chairman suggested to held a regular meetings involving all cluster heads and team leaders to  improve the interaction and communication between research groups. The meeting was  suggested to held once in 6 months time. Meeting of the Cluster Leaders of  Health & Medical Technology Niche and the Deputy Dean of Research was running smoothly and successfully achieve the objectives.
