Professional Certification Workshop
Fundamental Engineering Studies Programme, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, The National University of Malaysia is going to organize a professional certification workshop in July 2017. The objectives of the workshop are shown below:
1. This workshop aims to offer the students additional competency and to polish their skills in using software so that to prepare them for future workspaces.
2. This workshop will help the students to understand programming software and its application in industry as well as incorporating element of data analytics and its application in the syllabus of engineering mathematics.
3. This workshop will aid the lecturers in generalizing the level of mathematics knowledge among the students. Hopefully with the presence of Professional Certification Workshop as well as with the courses to be conducted during the workshop can bring the students to a higher level in their disciplines, in line with the aspiration of UKM as a research university.

Fundamental Engineering Studies Programme wishes that with this workshop, the problem of incapability to incorporate mathematics into their engineering courses among the students can be overcome. With this value-added skills, the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment will be able to produce graduate engineers which not only excel in their disciplines, but also capable to solve the mathematics problems encountered in their engineering career.
