Abstract
The Social Welfare Department (JKM) of the Malaysian government offers free counselling services to individuals who require them. There are numerous counselling services that are accessible. Sessions for counselling services are typically recorded manually, and there is no established system. The efficacy of the services provided has been maximally impacted by this record management. In this regard, the counselling service administration application (EaseCounsel) is specifically engineered to enhance the efficiency of the management of public sector counsellor services. The development of this mobile application utilises the Flutter and Firebase software, which includes features such as Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Authentication, that can be used on appropriate platforms, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Additionally, this application is developed using the Waterfall methodology, which encompasses planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The application streamlines the process of session appointment, retrieving, storing, and managing client records, thereby eliminating the time-consuming manual process. Additionally, it allows counsellors to generate statistical data that offers a perspective on the client's performance and requirements in relation to counselling sessions, which is a significant advantage. This application is a practical and adaptable utility due to its secure access from multiple locations. In summary, this application offers substantial advantages to the public sector by enhancing the quality and productivity of counselling services.
