Computer apps and programmes must now be integrated to ensure a more seamless work experience due to the expansion of the digital world and its effects on workplace culture. Therefore, on February 15, 2023, in the UKM Citra Study Center Conference Room, the Basic Course on Designing Information Systems with Microsoft Access was held.

The purpose of this course is to teach students how to construct an information storage system using Microsoft Access. The knowledge and abilities participants will have obtained from taking this course will help UKM employees and civil servants do their jobs more skillfully. As a speaker for the course, Mr. Muhammad Yazid Othman from PPCU was invited by the General Staff Union of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (KESUKMA) to lead it.

The program’s contents include:

1. Introducing the fundamentals of using Microsoft Access to develop a system
2. Introducing the creation of table data
3. Participants will receive instruction on creating a Form.
4. Participants will learn how to use Microsoft Word document templates to transfer data from MS Access.
5. Participants will learn how to use Microsoft Excel document templates to transfer data from MS Access.
6. Participants will learn how to import data into the Microsoft Access system from Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

I’d like to congratulate Kesuma and Mr. Yazid for this highly useful course. Students will learn how to build an information storage system using Microsoft Access in this course. Employees and civil servants of UKM will be able to perform their tasks more expertly thanks to the knowledge and skills participants will have acquired from taking this course. Mr. Muhammad Yazid Othman from PPCU was asked to speak for the course by the General Staff Union of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (KESUKMA).
