CITRA UKM - Academic Session 2020-2021
Citra Education Structure
Newly enrolled students must pass and complete:
- 30 credit units of the Citra Education Course for the purpose of graduation for Professional Program students which involves the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Health, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Economics and Management (Accounting Program);
- 30 credit units of the Citra Education Course for the purpose of graduation for students of the Model 2u2i & Model 3u1i Based Programs which involve the Faculty of Science and Technology (Biotechnology and Management Program, Oleochemistry Program, Environmental Science Program, Chemistry Program, Chemical Technology Program, Bioinformatics Program & Food Science Program with Business Management).
- 40 credit units of the Citra Education Course for graduation purposes for students of Non-Professional Programs and Programs that have a Standard Program that involves the Faculty of Islamic Studies, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Science and Technology (except the Biotechnology and Management Program, the Oleochemistry Program, the Environmental Science Program, the Chemistry Program, Chemical Technology Program, Bioinformatics Program & Food Science Program with Business Management), Faculty of Information Technology and Science, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Faculty of Economics and Management (except Accounting Program).
Citra Education Courses for Professional Programs and Programs Based on the 2u2i Model & 3u1i Model are divided into three (3) components, namely:
- University Compulsory Course – 10 credits
- University Citra Course Outside the Faculty – minimum 10 credits
- Equivalent University Citra Course – maximum 10 credits
The Citra Education Course for the Non-Professional Program is divided into three (3) components, namely:
- University Compulsory Course – 10 credits
- University Citra Course Outside the Faculty – minimum 20 credits
- Equivalent University Citra Course – maximum 10 credits
University Compulsory Course – The course standard is CW and this course is offered by the University Citra Center. Students must pass and complete 10 credits. University Compulsary Courses are:
For Citizen students
- LMCW1022 – Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (2 credits)
- LMCW2022 – Data Management & Analytics (2 credits)
- LMCW2143 – Philosophy and Current Issues (3 credits)
- LMCW2153 – Appreciation of Ethics and Civilization (3 credits)
For Non-Citizen students
- LMCW1022 – Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (2 credits)
- LMCW2193 – Malay Language Communication 2 (3 credits)
- LMCW2022 – Data Management & Analytics (2 credits)
- LMCW2143 – Philosophy and Current Issues (3 credits) OR
- LMCW2153 – Appreciation of Ethics and Civilization (3 credits).
Citra University Course – Course levels are C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 & C6. Students need to complete the minimum credit requirements according to Citra as shown in the diagram below:

* The balance of Citra Course credit requirements according to the domain is determined by the student. Students are free to choose any course that is Citra course through any Citra Domain.
