MAJLIS: PALMA 2022 International Malay Song Singing Competition

TIME: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Tun Syed Nasir Cultural Center, Wisma Dewan Bahasa, and Kuala Lumpur Library were the venues for the International Malay Song Singing Competition (PALMA) 2022, which took place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Ten people in total took part in this competition. Many Public and Private Universities are participating in this competition. International students at each of the participating universities make up the entire group. The ability to perform songs in Malay well is required.
A representative from University Kebangsaan Malaysia named PAN HUI, who is from China, has been dispatched. Pupils working under the direction of Puan Azilawati Mat Isa sang the Anta Permana song, which was made popular by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza. Three judges, Datuk Mokhzani Ismail, Mr. Ramlan Mohd Imam, and Dato’ Wan Aishah Wan Ariffin, judged this singing competition. Participants from UKM also got a trophy, a participation certificate, and an additional award provided by DBP as a consolation prize in the amount of RM1000.
