On January 9, 2023, in the Council Room of the Chancellery Building, there was a signing ceremony for the letter of intent for the sponsorship of the Master of Image Science Scholarship and the beginning of the Industry Connection Program. The event was launched in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kassim, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic & International Affairs.

Ino Nature Sdn. Bhd., a corporation with more than 16 years of experience in the development of semi-organic bio fertilisers, has also consented to finance the first tuition for Master of Science Citra students at this event.

The University Citra Study Center’s advisory board member and UKM alumni Dato’ Lee Mok Foong, who is also a professor adjunct in the faculty of social sciences and humanities, agreed to place Master of Image Science students at Trans Eco Farm Sdn. Bhd., also known as Sky Ladder Pineapple Farm, for the first time during the ceremony.

Furthermore present were Mr. Roger Saw Gee Shyang, the founder of Ino Nature Sdn. Bhd., and Prof. Dr. Khairul Anwar Mastor, the Dean of the Universiti Citra Study Center.
