BACKGROUND

UKM Library Endowment Fund is a fund intends to cover the expense of library and it was officially launched on the 10th of July 2003 by Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Rashdan bin Hj. Baba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

OBJECTIVE

⇒ To acquire facilities and equipment to improve the quality of the services and computers.

⇒ To accommodate expenditure for the acquisition of knowledge resources and the improvement of computerized library system.

⇒ To establish a mechanism to ensure stable, consistent and continuing financial sources for the long term to obtain knowledge resources for the advancement of learning, teaching and university researches.

⇒ As a financial resources for the acquisition of collection/ collection of expertise offered by individuals or certain parties.
