Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), through Department of Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, signed a Research Agreement with Zitai Regeneration Cell Sdn Bhd on August 14, 2024, at the Meeting Room, Level 3, Additional Block, HCTM. Zitai agreed to provide RM 400,000 in funding to the DTERM for a project led by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Fauzi Mh Busra, who is also the Head of DTERM.

 

The event was attended by Lt. Col. Associate Prof. Dato’ Dr. Zulkifli Md. Zainuddin, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, along with DTERM faculty and staff. Zitai was represented by Mr. Li Wing Fu, Director of Zitai Regeneration Cell Sdn Bhd, and other directors. In his speech, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Zulkifli expressed gratitude to Zitai for their interest in collaborating with UKM through DTERM to conduct in-depth research on treating atopic dermatitis using stem cells as a therapeutic agent.
