Wearing blazers, bow ties, dresses, and coloured robes, graduates from different faculties walked into Dewan Tun Razak (DECTAR) at the annual convocation from 30th October to 1st November 2015. It was indeed the highlight of the year which marked the end of the one journey and the start of a new chapter of life for the graduates. Exhibition of each faculty and residential college of UKM were carried out during the event. There were dance performances, booth and food stalls that had added colour to this meaningful event. Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy had done a great job in promoting smoking cessation, with the goal of creating a tobacco-free environment under the Green Lung organization. Besides, activities carried out by Faculty of Pharmacy throughout the year were well presented during the exhibition.
The convocation day of Faculty of Pharmacy was held on 1st November with the theme of “Honouring the Past, Serving the Future”. Warm wishes were exchanged among the graduates, their friends and family members. Graduates could be seen talking excitedly with their loved ones and also posing for pictures. It was a touching scene as this was a special day to remember for the graduates.
