Nothing in this life, would make the pharmacy graduates prouder than the moment they stepped onto the stage to receive their honorable certificate at the annual convocation held in Dewan Tun Razak (DECTAR) on the 6th November 2016. It was definitely one of the most important momentsfor the graduates where family and friends come together to witness such an honorable ceremony.
UKM graduates were advised to appreciate the full value of education received and to use the opportunity to serve back to the university and the community. ‘Nothing would make me, your family and lecturers prouder than to see you care, serve and give back to the country and especially to the community,” said Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Chancellor, DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
The convocation with the theme of ‘Mahasiswa Pemangkin Inovasi Negara’ was held successfully. There were lots of exciting activities held in conjunction of the convocation filled with the elements of intellectual, integration as well as innovation such as UKM Fit, exhibitions, UKM Robotic Challenges 2016, Convocation Run Challenge, Futsal and Netball tournaments as well!
It was indeed a very meaningful day not just for the graduates, but also to families and friends as well as tears of joy were shed and memorable pictures were taken to capture such beautiful moments. May the graduates continue to inspire, contribute and also expand their capabilities in order to serve the community! Congratulations once again!
