A sharing session with Persatuan Mahasiswa Fakulti Farmasi (PMFFar) and Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) was held on 16th of November 2017 at Lecture Hall 4. This session was held in order to share information regarding pharmacy-related activities to students.
A few upcoming events such as ASEAN PharmNET 2017, Inter-faculty Sports Carnival (IFaSC), Operasi Khidmat Masyarakat (OPKIM), Pharmacy Awareness and Pharmnight were introduced to pharmacy students. Besides, the international annual events held by International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) such as Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium 2017 (APPS) and Student Exchange Programme (SEP) were also introduced to students so that students can have a better understanding and prepare themselves before participating in these events.
The event was then followed by the Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) sharing session. William Choo Cheng Fei, Secretary 2 2017/2018 of MyPSA, was invited to give a talk to introduce about the annual events held under MyPSA. Muhammad Murtadha Bin Mohd Mazwil, the representative from IPSF APRO then explained about IPSF, APPS and SEP with a video. The invitation of representatives from MyPSA and IPSF had exposed the students to the exciting and informative events that were related to their professions. Lastly, this session was ended with a photography session with the representatives of MyPSA and IPSF, PMFFar and the students.
