The Entrepreneurship Day of the Faculty of Pharmacy is an event organised by PMFFar in collaboration with the JATI-UKM Club. It provides opportunities for students to begin their careers and enhance their business knowledge. It was held on the 19th of December 2024 at T1BE hall. The event, themed ‘Young Entrepreneurs Global Markets’, enables pharmacy students to cultivate entrepreneurial spirit through hands-on sales experiences and engaging entrepreneurship talks.
The first session started at 11 a.m. with an opening speech from Dr. Shamin Mohd Saffian, the program advisor, who shared valuable student tips. He highlighted important problem-solving skills and hard work were essential for anyone aspiring to succeed in the entrepreneurial world. Followed by the talk from Mr. Sabri Leman, who gave an inspirational speech on how to overcome challenges and creative ways to widen business. The second session started at 2 p.m. was about sponsorship talks, helping students how to secure sponsorship and deal professionally with industrial sectors.
Additionally, fun booth games were opened by PMFFar, JATI-UKM Club, and Green Lung Club where students could enjoy the games. Health screening and health exhibitions were available for students to receive health-related information. The most exciting part was the sales booth session where students could taste scrumptious foods and refreshing beverages that were prepared by the respective clubs including Pharmaline Club. Profits from the sale contribute to generating funds for mega programs like Pharmacy Awareness, and OPKIM. The funds play a vital role in supporting the growth of these meaningful programs.
