National Clinical Pharmacy Challenge is a national academic competition which involves all pharmacy students from either public or private universities. Again, this year with the theme of ‘Amplifying Clinical Proficiency, Elevating Quality of Life’, the competition was held in National University of Malaysia (UKM), Kuala Lumpur (KL) from 22nd till 24th April 2016.
The first day started with the registration of participants from different universities, followed by ice breaking session among participants in order to know each other better. The following day, the participants were briefed and the competition begin! After the preliminary round, the teams which successfully (IMU 1, Taylors, IMU 2, SEGI, UCSI, CUCMS, USM 2, USM 1) proceed to semi-finals, OSPHE. The day was ended with pyjamas party in DTSN, which was pumped up by delicacies and games.
The last day started off with the final battle between IMU 1, Taylor’s, SEGi and USM 2. Well done to Taylor’s University and IMU 1 which won the 2nd runner up and 1st runner up for the 2nd MyPSA NCPC respectively. Congratulations to USM 2 for the outstanding case study presentation and turned up to be the champion! The waiting time was finally over and it’s time for celebration!
