Pharmaline Organization had held a program called “Pharmaline Workshop” on 5th and 6th March 2016 at T1BE, National University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. This annual workshop was held to hone student’s soft skills and also to enhance their knowledge in journalism.
The first day started off with an officiating speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Makmor Bakry. After that, Mr. Amrahi Buang, Deputy Director of Malaysia Pharmaceutical Society (MPS), gave an informative talk on the current dispensing situation in Malaysia. Later, Mr. Lim Kean Ping, a committee member of MPS Young Pharmacist Chapter shared on his involvement in community engagement. In the evening, a resume writing slot was facilitated by Mdm Azwan, an experienced lecturer based in UKM Bangi.
On the next day, the Photography unit conducted a workshop on the art of photography and a competition was carried out towards the end of the workshop. In the evening, students were exposed to picture editing with Adobe Photoshop. It was a session facilitated by the Graphic unit.
These 2 days of workshop had benefited all the participants which included students from other universities. With that, it’s a wrap for Pharmaline Workshop 2016! See you in Pharmaline Workshop next year!
