Research title: “Assessment of telotristat ethyl gastroprotective effect on murine intestinal mononuclear phagocytes with experimental colitis.”
We are looking for ONE POTENTIAL FULL TIME MSc STUDENT
The project will look into the effect of agent inhibiting serotonin synthesis on the activity of gut-trophic mononuclear immune cells. This study will be used as a background research on finding new therapeutic target that can benefit patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease.
Selection criteria/Requirements:
- Open to candidates with a Bachelor degree in biomedical science, biotechnology, pharmacy, or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.0
- Hardworking, independent, and willing to learn new skills/things.
- Able to speak and write in Malay (optional) and English proficiently.
- Have a keen interest in scholarly pursuit involving reading, writing and presenting research findings.
Deadline of application: now till 31st Aug 2021 or until the post is filled.
Duration: 2 years
Grant is available for this project and GRA scheme (allowance) is available for a registered MSc student.
