The main focus of this research center is on understanding the molecular mechanisms of adverse effects of chemical, biological or physical exposure, and disease development for effective assessment and management of health risks. The areas of research at CORE include, but are not limited to toxicity studies and pharmacological effects of natural and synthetic chemicals, biochemical toxicology, mechanistic toxicology, genetic toxicology, carcinogenesis, human and ecological risk assessment, toxicology environment, occupational and industrial toxicology, infectious diseases and non-communicable, public health and epidemiology.
