Congratulations to Assoc. Prof Dr Tilakavati Karupaiah from Dietetics Programme, School of Healthcare Sciences  for being awarded the Joel D. Kopple Award 2017 by National Kidney Foundation, United States of America. The Joel D. Kopple Award is an annual award honoring an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of renal nutrition. She was the first individual from Asia region to win this award.
