Two of our postgraduate students from Programme of Biomedical Science, School of Diagnostic & Applied Health Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, have won the best oral and poster presenters at the 30th Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology (MSPP) at Shangri-La Hotel, Putrajaya (15-16th Aug 2016). Mr Faisal Malau bin Ahmad won ‘Best Oral Presenter‘ for his talk on “Lactobacillus Casei Strain C1 Mitigates Vascular Changes in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats”, supervised by Dr Satirah Zainalabidin and Dr Yap Wei Boon. Miss Lislivia Si Yang Nee won ‘Best Poster Presenter’ with her work entitled “Hibiscus sabdariffa Extract Protects Against High Fat Diet-induced Cardiac Injury”, supervised by Dr Satirah Zainalabidin, PM Dr Siti Balkis Budin and Dr Norsyahida Mohd Fauzi (Faculty of Pharmacy).
