Visit from Bond University, Australia to Dietetics Programme, FSK UKM
UKM Dietetics Program received a visit from Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia on 23rd March 2017. The delegation comprises 12 students and 3 academicians of Masters in Dietetics program at Bond University. They were welcomed by opening speeches and presentation by Prof. Dr. Kartini Ahmad, the Deputy Dean of Graduate and International Affairs and Prof. Dr. Tilakavati Karupaiah, the Head of UKM Dietetics Program. On the agenda of the day was among others, experience sharing session on dietetics research and teaching between the academic staff and postgraduate students from both universities and an introduction to the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) by MDA representative. The delegation also had a tour to the program’s teaching and research facilities including therapeutic diet preparation laboratory, Chengkih D’lite Café and the community rehabilitation and ageing research center, H-Care.
