Prior to her appointment as a Principal Fellow at UKM-GSB, she held the position of Registrar at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Managing nearly 10,000 personnel is not an easy task, but her 25 years of experience in administration, human resource management, and governance have benefited her significantly in developing her leadership skills. Her expertise and experience are also frequently consulted by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, public universities, government, and private agencies. Her practitioner skills and experiences enable her to bring novel perspectives and ideas to the table, as well as to integrate theory and practice into the corpus of knowledge.
