Alhamdulillah on 22 October 2024, Institute of Islam Hadhari (Institute of Islamic Civilization) UKM with Chair of Excellence Sheikh Abdullah Fahim, Institute of Islam Hadhari UKM in collaboration with Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center has successfully organized an International Seminar on Modern Approaches on Studying the Scientific Heritage of Imam al-Bukhari at Majlis Room, Level 5 , Majlis Room, 5th Floor Chancellory Building, UKM.

This seminar is organized to discuss more on the wide spectrum on the research of Imam Bukhari in multi discipline of knowledge and how it impact and has affected our life since then and what are the next upcoming research to be done or what is the challenges in doing so.

Next is the signing ceremony Memorandum of Understanding between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia And The Higher School For Hadith Science, The Republic Of Uzbekistan to further enhance the future collaboration between both parties.

The welcoming speech is done by Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Abd. Razak: Chairman, Ukm Board Of Directors, UKM followed by Professor Dr. Shovosil Ziyodov : Director, Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Uzbekistan. Then, the opening speech is presented by H.E. Mr. Karomidin Gadoev, Ambassador Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.

In the opening ceremony, there were 3 books launching ceremony in conjunction with this seminar, those books are as following:
1) Peradaban Islam Merentasi Disiplin Ilmu
2) The Impacts of Islamic Civilization on Scientific Discoveries and Social Progress
3) Nilai, Norma Dan Kesejahteraan Belia Melalui Kesukarelawanan Alam Sekitar

Our keynote Speaker for the seminar is Dr. Amonov Barot Murodovich: Rector, High School for Hadith Science, Uzbekistan and Dr. Norshariani Abd Rahman, Institute of Islam Hadhari, UKM. Whilst the closing ceremony is done by Professor Dato’ Dr. Fariza Md Sham, Fasc: Director, Institute Islam Hadhari, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia followed by Dr. Karimov Jamoliddin Abdulkhamidovich: Director, Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center, Uzbekistan.
