The INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF RELIGION, ARTS AND HUMANITIES (IJRAH) is an internationally refereed online journal (e-ISSN 2805-5055) published by the Research Centre for Theology and Philosophy, National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia). IJRAH an Open Access Journal that users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles. The international perspective of the journal reflected by its international authors, international editors, international reviewers, international member of advisory board, international access and its trilingual approach (English, Arabic and Malay). Founded in 2021, IJRAH published in June and December annually. It is open to authors around the world regardless of the nationality. IJRAH supports Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.
AIM
The mission of the International Journal of Religion, Arts and Humanities (IJRAH) is to encourage scholarly research in religion, arts and humanities issues. IJRAH provides a venue for academics, and researchers to publish current and significant research as well as other publication activities, such as book and article reviews. PUBLICATION OF ARTICLE TYPES
Editorial Board Members may provide advice on manuscripts submitted but are not involved in the final decisions. Manuscripts submitted to IJRAH are assessed by our experienced in-house editorial team, who take all decisions based on an extensive and rigorous peer review process by academic experts who specialize in the manuscript topic. Peer reviewers are expert chosen by journal editors to provide written assessment of the strengths and weakness of article with the aim of producing the highest quality material of the journal. They are selected based on expertise in a specific field nomination by existing editorial board members, and other factors. Peer reviewers for the journal are also selected by the Editor-in-Chief. All manuscripts are subjected to rigorous double -blind peer review -the identity of the peer reviewers is not revealed to the authors, and the identity of the authors is not revealed to the reviewers, as long as the authors have adequately removed all identifying information from the manuscript. The review process involves an objective assessment of the scientific rigor of the research as well its significance and contribution to advancing knowledge in the field of Islamic thought. IJRAH adhered to the principles of, the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). IJRAH does not accept any type of Plagiarism -the use of any material and ideas developed or created by another person without acknowledging the original source. To avoid any form of plagiarism, each manuscript newly submitted to IJRAH will be reviewed by the reviewers in the field and by using iThenticate. By submitting an article, authors are thereby asserting that their work is entirely original and that others’ work or text has been appropriately cited or attributed. The re-use of one’s own published work without appropriate citation (self-plagiarism) is also unethical.
Papers can be submitted to the journal at any time, but submitted papers are batched and reviewed in cycles with strict deadlines. IJRAH uses the following cycles for each volume:
Responsibility for (1) the accuracy of statements of fact, (2) the authenticity of scientific findings or observations, (3) expressions of scientific or other opinion and (4) any other material published in the journal rests solely with the author(s) of the article in which such statements, etc., appear. The journal, its owners, publishers, editors, reviewers and staff take no responsibility for these matters.
