23-24 July 2024 : International Symposium on Synthetic Biology and CRISPR Technology (iSynBioCT)
25-26 July 2024 : INBIOSIS Synthetic Biotechnology (iSynBT) hands-on workshop

iSynBioCT is an international symposium that is organized to provide networking platform for academics, researchers and industrial players in the fields of CRISPR Technology, systems and synthetic biology. In line with the the theme "Translating Research in Innovation Driven Sustainable Bioeconomy", this symposium will be hosting conference session (Keynote, Plenary, Oral/Poster presentation) as well as Sustainable Bioeconomy forum (Day 2). Join us to meet the experts and share your interest in these rapidly-emerging and exciting research fields!

To promote and share the latest techniques in CRISPR Technology and Synthetic Biotechnology in Malaysia, the iSynBT workshop is dedicated to introducing fundamental concepts of advanced microbial engineering platforms and hands-on training on dCas13a-mediated RNA knockdown in bioengineered microbes and biopolymer production analysis.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamental concepts and hands-on techniques on:
1. Concept and applications of synthetic biology and CRISPR-Cas technology
2. CRISPR-dCas13 sgRNA design and synthesis
3. CRISPR technology for plastic biotechnology
