INOVASI@UKM Showcases Cutting-Edge Technology and Research at SLC 2024
(Last Updated On: )Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), through its Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre (INOVASI@UKM), made a significant impact at the Selangor Life Sciences Convention (SLC) 2024, held from 16 to 19 October 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Organized by the Selangor State Government through Invest Selangor Berhad, this exhibition is part of the Selangor International Business Summit 2024, the largest annual platform for business and innovation exchange in Selangor.
UKM’s booth highlighted INOVASI@UKM as a leader in innovation and technology transfer, showcasing various research products and innovations with major impacts on the Life Sciences sector. INOVASI@UKM plays a crucial role in bridging university research with industry needs, advancing technology towards commercialization, and addressing critical challenges in the life sciences industry.
In addition to exhibiting innovative products, INOVASI@UKM also emphasized the services and support provided to researchers and industry players. Opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry were further strengthened by the presence of government representatives, researchers, and industry leaders, making this exhibition a strategic platform to expand the innovation network.
The visit by Malaysia’s Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr. Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Device Authority (MDA), Dr. Muralitharan Paramasua, further recognized the efforts of INOVASI@UKM in contributing to research and technological development in Malaysia.
With overwhelming interest from visitors, INOVASI@UKM continues to play a pivotal role in introducing cutting-edge technologies and innovations that have the potential to transform the life sciences industry, further solidifying UKM’s position as a national leader in innovation.
