Facilities

The Department of Civil and Structural Engineering 10 laboratories  for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The laboratories cater to all of the teaching and research needs of the department. Many studies are done using the laboratory equipments in the department.

The laboratories in the department are equipped with a good range of basic and up-to-date instruments to support both the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research needs. Some of the laboratories are equipped with sophisticated equipments to give exposure to the students with the latest technology.

Even though the use of the laboratories can be divided into undergraduate learning and postgraduate research uses, some of the laboratories offer shared facilities. This provides opportunities for undergraduate learning based on research work conducted in the department.
