Ordinary Differential Equation

The goal of this mathematics course is to furnish engineering students with necessary knowledge and skills of differential equations to model simple physical problems that arise in practice. The emphasis will be on formulating the physical and solving equations, and not on rigorous proofs. Topics to be covered include techniques and engineering applications of ordinary differential equations, an introduction to partial differential equations with suitable cases of boundary value problems, use of Laplace transforms in solving ordinary differential equation and use Fourier series to solve partial differential equations.
