Department of Food Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, UKM have successfully conducted industrial training to the food manufacturer in collaboration with US Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) – representative by All About Fresh Produce Sdn Bhd and Chef Ryan (Green Power Empire Sdn Bhd).
Participants from various food industries including Kintry, BWY Wilmar, Rainbows Health, Bakels, Pastry Pro, Biocreations, Takexco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Bodycrafter Wellness, Sanjeev Kandiah, Lush Food Group, Loob Holdings, Bake with Yen, House of Ingredients (HOI), Boohaci Inifinity, Bijoux Food, Low Sugarlab, Origin Bulk Store, Rach Desserts, Madam Sun, Cultured Loaf, Nutribaker, Origina, Eco Action(Lohas) and Srri Easwari Mills joined the training.
This training aimed to empower food producers with the knowledge and skills to creatively innovate and develop new high quality food products using blueberries, focusing on unique flavor profiles, nutritional benefits and market trends. We also presented scientific data on newly developed blueberry products, including their composition, nutritional value and potential health benefits.
