Publication Acceleration Fund

The Publication Acceleration Fund was introduced in 2019 by CRIM using the allocation from the University Research Fund 2018 under the Faculty Research Development Fund (DPP) account.


The main objectives of this DPP are:


  • To support UKM's MyRA strategy for indexed publication (WoS/SCOPUS/ERA) in the respective year.
  • To implement publication agendas by faculties/institutes by promoting a culture of publication in indexed journals (WoS/SCOPUS/ERA).
  • To increase the number of articles published in indexed journals (WoS/SCOPUS/ERA).

Publication Assurance Slot

The Research and Innovation Affairs Secretariat has proposed the 'Indexed Journal Publication Assurance Slot,' and this matter has been approved in Faculty Management Meeting No. 5/2023 and Faculty Meeting No. 269. This initiative is among the efforts to strengthen indexed journal publication among young lecturers DS45/51/52 and subsequently enhance the research ecosystem in assisting to improve the visibility of indexed journal publications in FKAB.
