Master of Engineering (Environmental) is offered by Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, UKM. This programme provides an integrated background in environmental science which covers ecosystem and environmental impacts and management, liquid and solid waste management and treatment, waste water engineering and air pollution equipment design. This programme is a multidiscipline programme that integrate three engineering programmes i.e., chemical engineering, civil engineering and mechanical engineering. Some courses offered are Environmental Management: Ecology, Audit and Impact, Industrial Waste Management, Air Pollution Chemistry and Control, Wastewater Treatment and Municipal Solid Wate Management.

A Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours (CGPA 2.75 and above) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university
OR;
OR;
A Bachelor of Science degree with honours (minimum CGPA 3.50) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university
OR;
A Bachelor of Science degree with honours (CGPA 3.49 and below) from The National University of Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university with at least 3 years working experience in engineering or related fields after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants.
OR;
For international candidates, requirements for English Language is minimum 550 (TOEFL) or 5.5 (IELTS).
