10th Malaysian International Seminar on Antarctica (MISA 10)

The Sultan of Terengganu, His Royal Highness Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah was pleased to inaugurate the 10th Malaysian International Seminar on Antarctica (MISA10) at Bangi Resort Hotel on 14 May 2024.

Themed ‘Polar Research for Sustainability and Planetary Health’, MISA10 is an effort to foster knowledge exchange and encourage collaboration in the field of polar research for the greater good of the earth’s well-being.

The seminar, which brought together 150 participants from home and abroad, was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Natural Sustainability (NRES), the Sultan Mizan Antarctic Research Foundation (YPASM), the National Antarctic Research Center (NARC) and the National University of Malaysia (UKM).
