UKM managed to get 2 awards in the Business Excellence Award

UKM won 2 awards in the 5th Business Excellence Awards organized by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce at Sunway Resort Hotel yesterday. The awards won were A. 3rd place for Best Partnership UK Malaysian Educational Institution with Liverpool John Moores University. B. Runner-up for the UK Malaysia Annual Collaboration category, a collaboration between UMBI and the University of Dundee. UKM is the only higher education institution (public or private) in Malaysia to receive recognition in two categories at this prestigious award ceremony. This is an outstanding achievement that proves UKM’s dedication to fostering close partnerships and collaborations that can contribute significantly to the UK-Malaysia education landscape. In a ceremony officiated by YB Govind Singh Deo, Minister of the Digital Ministry, Prof Dato’ Dr Roslee Rajikan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Planning received the award on behalf of UKM while Prof Datuk Dr A Rahman Jamal received on behalf of UMBI. The ceremony was also attended by Prof Dato’ Dr Mohammad Kassim, Associate Prof Dr Azian Murad, Director of UMBI and Associate Prof Dr Tanon Unjah, Deputy Director of UKM Global.
