UKM has accessible childcare facilities for staff and faculty. Tunas Permata UKM is designated for both students and staff, providing essential support for balancing professional responsibilities with childcare.
Additionally, at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM, the university offers Taska Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, a childcare facility for children aged 3 months to 4 years old. These facilities reflect UKM’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for both students and staff, allowing them to focus on their work and studies while ensuring their children are well cared for.
Additional facilities include dedicated lactation rooms for female staff, providing a comfortable and private setting for nursing mothers, further enhancing UKM’s support for working mothers.

Taska Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz
The Taska Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM, is categorised as a workplace childcare centre, where Taska HCTM accepts more than 10 children and is an exempted registered childcare centre under the Department of Social Welfare (JKM). This childcare centre caters exclusively to children aged 3 months to 4 years old.
