8th Global Higher Education Forum 2023

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Mr. Ts. Dr. Mohd Ekhwan Hj. Toriman attended the ‘8th Global Higher Education Forum 2023′ (GHEF 2023) held at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Center KLIA, today. The international forum conference was officiated by the Minister of Higher Education, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin. One of the main purposes of this forum is to provide a discussion platform involving stakeholders to discuss global issues, especially related to the post-pandemic recovery plan in the context of the country’s higher education, as well as providing space for the construction of more international networks involving various education entities. UKM through UKMShape has also opened an event on this program and the Vice-Chancellor had the opportunity to greet the Minister of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Culture at UKM’s event and inform them of the current development of international student intake at UKM. Also present was the Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of KPT, Dato’ Dr. Megat Sany Megat Ahmad Supian; KPT Deputy Secretary General (Management and Development), Datuk Dr. Mohd Zabri Yusoff; Director General of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director General of the Department of Polytechnic Education and Community College, Dr. Mr. Mohd Zahari Ismail; UA Vice Chancellor and other distinguished guests.
