Green Procurement
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is committed to promoting sustainability through responsible and ethical procurement practices. The UKM Green Procurement Guidelines serve as a framework to ensure that all procurement activities align with environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles.
By integrating green procurement into UKM’s purchasing decisions, the university aims to minimize environmental impact, support eco-friendly products and services, and encourage sustainable practices among suppliers and stakeholders. These guidelines align with national policies and international best practices, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
