Under section 12 , page 61 – 66, the UKM Investment Guidelines outline policies for managing the Endowment Fund and Long-Term Investment Fund, collectively known as Investment Funds. These guidelines serve as a basis for decision-making and approval in accordance with UKM’s financial policies and regulations.

The authority to manage investments is given to the University Board of Directors, the Investment Committee, and the Executive Director of Finance.

University Board of Directors approves the Investment Policy and investment proposals.

Investment Committee reviews and recommends investment proposals to the Board.

Investment Committee members include the Board of Directors’ members, Vice-Chancellor, finance and risk officers, and a professional representative. These guidelines ensure proper governance and compliance in UKM’s investment activities.
