Providing an introduction to Green Shoots Foundation and our work in the last 10 years. The talk will give a chance for students to see how a small/local NGO functions with the community, how we measure our success and allow our work to develop based on feedback and local practices from the community. Green Shoots operates from the rural province of Oddar Meanchey in the Northwest of Cambodia. Our mission is to ensure food security in households and introduce food growing skills and appropriate technology to young people. Since 2018 we have been running a demonstration farm/ community space that is multipurpose (and open to visitors).
