About Us

The Innovation Centre for Confectionery Technology (MANIS) was established on October 7th, 2010. Currently, MANIS is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Lim Seng Joe and supported by 5 portfolio managers, namely workshop and training, consultation, strategic network, revenue and sales, as well as a webmaster; 1 research officer; 2 assistant science officers, a panel of research experts from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and other stakeholders in its operations. MANIS is committed to offering quality consultation services to food companies/ industries; expanding national and international research networking for current and upcoming Research, Development, and Commercial (R&D&C) projects; conducting training and related courses in the fields of food science and nutrition; laboratory food analyses services as well as renting of available facilities.
