Abstract Submission Guidelines
Submission of Abstract for Oral and Poster Presentation
We invite submissions for oral and poster presentations at MISA10. Interested researchers are requested to submit an abstract for your presentation and indicate whether it is for ORAL or POSTER. The Scientific committee shall review and recommend whether the submission will be in oral or poster format.
Guidelines for Oral Presenters
1. The time allotted for the presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation, 5 minutes Q&A).
2. For physical oral presenters:
- The PowerPoint presentation slides shall be submitted via email to the Secretariat (misa10@ukm.edu.my) no later than 10 May 2024. Should the file size exceed, please share it via cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, Microsoft OneNote)
- Please enter the room five minutes before your session starts.
3. For virtual oral presenters:
- Speakers are requested to prepare a pre-recorded presentation. Please email the link (e.g. Google Drive, Microsoft OneNote) of the presentation video file to the Secretariat (misa10@ukm.edu.my) no later than 10 May 2024.
- The speaker must be available online at least 10 minutes before the presentation and ready for the Q&A session. Session link will be provided by the secretariat through email.
Guidelines for Poster Presenters
- The poster should be of an A1 size (59.4cm x 84.1cm).
- Ideally, the title of the project with the name and affiliation should be clearly provided.
- The font of the poster content should be of appropriate size, so it can be easily read at a reasonable distance of 1 to 1.5 meters by the participants.
- Please ensure that the posters are as self-explanatory as possible. Include supportive materials e.g. tables, graphs, photographs or illustrations.
- The poster presenters are required to be at their poster during refreshments and coffee breaks.
- The poster should be displayed on a poster board provided during registration according to the board number assigned.
