Precision Medicine: Challenges and Opportunities

On 30th March 2021, the Young Scientist Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) had organized the YSN-ASM International Scientific Virtual Conference (ISVC) 2021. The theme for the conference was “Resilience in the New Normal”.

This video records a keynote session of the conference in Track A: Health and Wellbeing, given by Prof. Datuk Dr. A Rahman A Jamal. In this video, he shares the challenges and opportunities of precision medicine in Malaysia. Prof. Datuk Dr. A Rahman A Jamal is the project leader of The Malaysian Cohort (TMC) project. TMC project is a population-based cohort study that investigates the disease interactions between genes and environments.
