JOMJOHO 2017 a Success

BANGI, 27 January 2017 – UKM’s Johor Students’ Association (PERMAJ), successfully organised the Jelajah Operasi Khidmat Masyarakat Programme (JOMJOHO) 2017, in Pontian, recently.
“A total of 130 UKM students joined this programme and were placed with 33 families in two villages namely Kampung Sungai Buntu and Kampung Penerok, in Pontian.
“Most of them are students from Johor but there were also students from other states,” she said adding that students involved had the chance to explore and get to know Pontian, through the programme.
She said the program lasted for four days and are filled with a variety of activities such as the Cultural Carnival and educational programs.
She hopes that JOMJOHO 2017 will help create responsible and patriotic graduates.
The programme was officiated by Kukup State Assemblyman, Suhaimi Salleh.
