BANGI, 3 February 2020 – 203 students from 31 boarding school (SBP) students all over Malaysia from form one until five compete Second SBP Mathematic Olympiad from 3 February to 5 February 2020 here at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

The competition is organized by Alam Shah Science Secondary School, UKM and Ardent Education Consultant.

This competition also shows an increase number of participant from 163 participants last year to 203 participants this year.

For this year, competition is divided into two parts which is the first part require participants to undergoes courses for 12 hours and second part is a test for 2 and a half hours.

According to Principle of Alam Shah Science School, Norazhar Mohd Shah, the objective of this competition is to choose student to represent SBP in International Mathematic Olympiad Selection Test.

The competition was opened by Deputy Dean (Undergraduates) Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) UKM, Prof Ir Dr Siti Rozaimah Sheikh Abdullah.
