BANGI, 26 April 2017 – Fiesta Ranggoli 2017, an annual program organized by the Indian Student Club (KMI) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), has managed to collect around RM25,000 to be distributed to non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Fiesta Ranggoli Director, Tharisini Kunaserkaran said RM10,000 would be channeled to Agathiar Sanmarka Sanggam Welfare Association to help 10 families who are facing financial problems.

He said the program was in cooperation with the television show “Kannadi” which is a program that is aired on Astro Vaanavil, to lend a hand to the less fortunate and disadvantaged.

The Fiesta was inaugurated by the President of the Community Builders Foundation Kuala Lumpur, Datin Seri P Kanagam.

Also present at the fiesta were UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Industry and Community Partnership,  Prof. Dato’ Dr Imran Ho Abdullah, Principal of College Keris Mas, Prof Madya Dr Muhammad Hussin and famous artist from Malaysia, KK Khanna, Rabbit Mac, Shamini R Villaz dan Ola Bola Saran.
