Make UKM as Entrepreneurship Campus – Vice Chancellor

BANGI, December 4, 2018 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Vice-chancellor, Prof Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali wants the UKM campus to be a more entrepreneurial in equipping its graduates with entrepreneurial sciences.

He highlighted that the students are free to do any business, as it is important in preparing themselves with the entrepreneurship world.

“Students cannot rely on external jobs, but instead need to be a job creator rather than the job seeker. With this opportunity, I welcome all of you (entrepreneurs) to UKM. We want to make this campus more entrepreneurs. We are opening up for entrepreneurs to the UKM campus,” he said during the 100 Entrepreneurs @ Chancellory Square, UKM recently.

He said that the Town Hall program is one of the most important platforms in establishing collaborative networks across disciplines and expertise with UKM’s strategic partners.

“I congratulate you (UKM students) who participated in the entrepreneurial exhibition in conjunction with today’s program. I hope the mentors can nurture and develop the existing interests to become successful entrepreneurs in the future,” he added.

The 100 Entrepreneur @ UKM program is one of the initiatives under Tekad 18 that emphasizes Smart Partnership and Strategic Engagement by collaborating with 100 successful entrepreneurs to drive the excellence and excellence of UKM.

The program is also one of the initiatives to incorporate entrepreneurship culture and characteristics amongst students through the sharing of experience, knowledge and expertise directly with successful entrepreneurs.
