BANGI, 27 Janusry 2017 – Former Dean of Faculty of Social Science and Humanities (FSSK), Prof. Dr. Hazita Azman was appointed as Rating Standards and English Language Quality Council’s (MPSKBI) panel of experts for 2016-2018, recently.

Prof Dr Hazita said MPSKBI acts as a panel which looks at and monitors the implementation of English Language curriculum and the new road map for English Language that has been drafted by the previous group of panel.

“We monitor from the point of teachers’ training, curriculum, module contents, teaching and English Language syllabus,” she said.

She said the main function of MPSKBI is to specify the standard of skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English among pupils.

“Besides that, MPSKBI will also design a common standard of learning content and try to increase the pupils’ performance in English for students of all ages,” she explained.

Prof Dr Hazita also hopes that recommendations made by MPSKBI will be accepted and implemented by the ministry.
