Science Technology Can Generate a Lucrative Income

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) encourages its’ students to venture into the field of science, technology and agriculture as a career of choice because the field can generate lucrative income.
UKM Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation, Prof Dato’ Dr Mazlin Mokhtar said in line with the challenges of investment nowadays, he would like to see research results being commercialised.
“So, the cooperation between UKM with Data Intelek Sdn Bhd (DISB) and Nomatech Sdn Bhd will help the researchers in commercializing their product.
“UKM takes pride in this collaboration because DISB is a company that offers integrated analysis engineering services to the processing industry that includes engineering and testing.
“Meanwhile, Nomatech is an innovation-based company that emphasizes on agricultural commercialisation of research results and its eventual outcome of agricultural and focused on the preparation of the development of technical products and services related to agriculture.
“So the collaboration between UKM with both companies will help UKM researchers market their research products to the global level and consequently generate a handsome ucrative income,” he said at the signing of a Technology Licensing Agreement (LTA) between UKM Technology, DIBS and Nomatech, here, recently.
