BANGI, 21 May 2017 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia receive a 5 stars rating in the QS Stars Rating, announced in Dubai recently.

UKM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic and International Affairs, Prof Dato Ir Dr Riza Atiq Abdullah OK Rahmat said UKM excelled in eight categories evaluated; Learning, Employability, Research, Internationalization, Facilities, Innovation, Inclusiveness and Education and received 4 stars for Research and Education.

Prof Dato’ Ir Dr Riza Atiq said with the success of earning 5 stars, UKM is expected to attract more international students to pursue their tertiary education, at the university.

“This is a testimony of the increase in quality of education in UKM,” he said.

Other universities which have earned the prestigious 5 star rating from QS Stars Rating include University of Oxford,University of Cambridge, UM, USM, UPM and UTP.
