UKM Helps Develop Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU, 29 December 2016 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is committed in its initiative to help develop Terengganu.
According to Terengganu Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, UKM has implemented a few projects and have some which is still under the pipeline.
“The programmes are Virtual Museum Project, Your Language My Culture (YLMC), Conservation and Marketing of the Copper Craft Industry, Archelogy Projects, Speciality Paddy Rice Cultivation Projects, Anak Terengganu Association Programs, Terengganu School Programme and Consultation and UKM Kampung Angkat program, which was just launched,” he said at Kampung Seberang Takir, recently.
He said the state government also are in the midst of further discussions with UKM to develop additional programmes that can help Terengganu develop new innovations.
Meanwhile, UKM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali said that the programs and projects developed is part of the university’s initiative in sharing their scholarly expertise.
“This is our way of reaching out to the community,” he said.
