UKM – Negeri Sembilan Entrepreneurship Collaboration

SEREMBAN, 21 February 2017 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) will be collaborating with the Negeri Sembilan State Government to develop entrepreneurial skill, especially in rural areas.
Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Utama Mohamad Hasan said state government (isinterested to collaborate because UKM are experts in entrepreneurship.
“We would like to develop and entrepreneurial community in Negeri Sembilan so that they will not be too dependent on the State Government,” he said, recently.
Dato’ Seri Utama Mohamad Hasan is confident that the collaboration will provide a good opportunity for both parties.
Meanwhile, UKM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali said UKM is committed in developing entrepreneurship in Negeri Sembilan.
He said UKM also intends to conduct research based on sharing expertise, human capital development and capacity, increase competitiveness and socioeconomic development and to ensure the sustainability of culture and heritage in Negeri Sembilan.
At the ceremony, Dato’ Seri Utama Mohamad also approves the allocation of RM60,000 for UKM to publish books titled ‘Negeri Sembilan: Kaya Kurnia Kaya Budaya.’
