PUTRAJAYA, 14 August 2017 – UKM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali received the Asia HRD Awards 2017 (Contribution to Society category), recently.

He received the award for his outstanding contributions towards capacity building.

Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan received the award from the Deputy Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Asia HRD Awards is a celebration and recognition of those who contribute to people development, whether it is to the human resource profession, an organisation, community or society.

Other award recipient in the same category were Higher Education Director General Datin Paduka Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia Board of Directors’ Chairman, Prof Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, former Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia, J. Eduardo Malaya, and Sri Balaji Society President, Prof (Col) A. Balasubramaniam.
